The Allen Family founded, Sequoia Grove in 1980. The winery was named after the giant Sequoia trees which grow along the estate. Located on the Rutherford Bench of Napa Valley Sequoia Grove focuses production on Bordeaux style wines. Emphasizing balance and flavor has made this Boutique winery on the top of many critics lovers. Making limited quantities wine of only the best fruits is the goal of Sequoia Grove. While keeping with the century old tradition of winemaking the talented team lead by Mike Trujillo uses the most modern equipment, blending old world with new. Since their earliest vintages Sequoia Grove has been rated by many wine loves as the best, in addition to be named “Best Cabernet Sauvignon” on their first vintage, the reputation of Sequoia Groves is still growing.
