Beginning in 1995, long time friends and veterans of the wine industry, George
Vare and Mike Moone, created Luna Vineyards. With a vision of producing artisan
wines fashioned after old world master, Luna Vineyards starts with only the
best fruits. Working with some the top wine growers and makers, Luna has set
out to produce fine Italian varietals, with recent additions of chardonnay
and Cabernet. Along with stunning building, and lush grounds Luna Vineyards
stands as a example of Tuscan-California craftsmanship.
