Started by two friends in 1981, Folie a Deux was based on the passion and endeavor to create elite wines in small production. Known for their Amador County Zinfandel and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, both earning numerous awards this winery has named a for themselves. With wide acclaim from restaurants around the country, Folie a Deux is a top tear wine producer. Now owned and operated by the Trinchero Family, Folie a Deux has continued creating some of the best wines from the Napa Valley. Along with great wine, the grounds of this estate are spectacular with many of the century-old buildings still being used, such as the farmhouse and stone shed.
