With their first Chardonnay vintage in 1979 and Cabernet Sauvignon in 1982, Far Niente has kept true to the philosophy founder of Gil Nickel. With winemaker Stephanie Putnam on their team Far Niente has been reviewed and rated with some of the highest honors of the wine industry. Along with full flavored wines, the grounds of Far Niente are something to be seen and shared, with lush greenery and a majestic setting, one should visit for themselves.
