Domaine Chandon is situated on a beautiful property amidst to extensive landscaping and spring-fed ponds in the heart of the Napa Valley . This romantic, calm, secluded location offers perfect setting for sipping elegant wine, dining, touring in the wineries, viewing local artists or simply wandering in picturesque grounds. This year Domaine Chandon is going to host their 5th Annual Pink Party. The main aim for hosting pink party is to benefit breast cancer treatments at Queen of the Valley Medical Center which is located in Napa Valley . Since from 1985, month of October is recognized to be as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During this month organization of all size and types, profit and nonprofit business concerns, state and federal programs and general public put an additional effort for fundraising and creating awareness during this month. Hence Domaine Chandon is also committed in this important cause of fund raising. This year they have planned to hoist the party on October 21, 2010. It promises a carnival featuring pink Domaine Chandon champagne cocktails, pink appetizers made by Executive Chef Perry Hoffman of Domaine Chandon's Etoile Restaurant, and dance to the music presented by DJ Dukes. It will also hold a Silent Auction which offers Napa Valley wines and more. Last year the same party has raised a sum of around $16,000 for breast cancer research at Queen of the Valley.
