California wine country is further divided into four regions and each region are again subdivided into sub regions. The most popular sub regions in California wine country are Napa Valley wine country and Sonoma county wine country. They are situated at the northern regions of California. The valley is one of the famous wine growing regions in the world driving in many tourists throughout the year.
