A glass of wine at the end of a tiring day lifts up our spirits. It is a great accompaniment with a meal. There are innumerous types of wines, both white and red. To know more about wines right under your nose make a trip to Napa valley through Napa Tours agencies. There are wineries that show you how they make wines. Napa Tours are an indulgence to wine lovers. The real differences between red and white wines are;

  • Their color is an obvious difference.
  • Red wines are complex in taste. It has several layers of flavor which is not the case in white wines. The fermentation process is the differentiator than the type of grapes used.
  • The fermentation process itself is different for red and white wines. Grape stems, skins and seeds are separated from the grape juice in the case of white wine fermentation. Whereas the in red wine making the seeds are not separated. This leads to the release of tannins into the juice that is responsible for full flavor and complexity in red wines.
  • Both the wine types can be sweet or dry. Only the amount of sugar converted to alcohol decides it sweetness.

Choose a wine that will relax you at the end of a tiring day. Wines are always a pleasure to drink. So indulge in the one that you like best.
