After various research and investigation, it is said that red wine has rich source of antioxidants flavonoid phenolics, so the moderate amount of red wine on daily basis can prevent heart attack for the people in the middle age between 30 to 50. Red wine also prevent additional heart attack if you have already suffered one. Red wine also helps to raise the HDL cholesterol (the good cholesterol) and reduce the LDL cholesterol (the bad cholesterol). Red wines also prevent blood clots and help the blood vessels by getting damaged by fat deposits.
Therefore people who regularly drank red wine have lower risk of heart disease. According to American heart association, it's not advisable to drink more as alcohol consumption is associated to cancer risk. AHA recommends only one drink per day for women and one to two drink per day for men. |
