One of Napa Valley newest winery's, Artesa
has an one of a kind architecturally notable facility which is solely dedicated
to the production of champenoise sparkling wine. Blending the old world with
modern design has set this Vineyard and winery apart form the rest. Though
new to Napa the Codorníu Group has been making wine
for 15 generations, and proves themselves a perfect fit for the Napa Valley.
In the Spring of 2006 they released the following new wines: In the spring,
we release our Reserve and Limited Release Wines of Reserve Cabernets, Merlots,
and Sauvignon Blanc. Also: Pinot Blanc, Garnacha Rosado, and Albarino. Dave
Dobson is the head winemaker. Artesa sits on a 352-acre Carneros estate ideal
for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
